Blessings for the weekday readings in 'winter'

As November marks the start of  'winter' in the Benedictine office, I thought it might be useful to post the blessings used for the three readings each day.

1.      For readings from Scripture

Monday and Thursday
1
V. Iube, domne, benedícere.
Benedictio.Benedictióne perpétua benedícat nos Pater ætérnus.
R. Amen.
V. Grant, Lord, a blessing.
May the Eternal Father bless us with an eternal blessing. Amen.

2
V. Iube, domne, benedícere.
Benedictio. Unigénitus Dei Fílius nos benedícere et adiuváre dignétur.
R. Amen.
V. Grant, Lord, a blessing.
May the Son, the Sole-begotten, mercifully bless and keep us. Amen.
3
V. Iube, domne, benedícere.
Benedictio. Spíritus Sancti grátia illúminet sensus et corda nostra.
R. Amen.
V. Grant, Lord, a blessing.
May the grace of the Holy Spirit enlighten all our hearts and minds. Amen.

Tuesday and Friday

May God the Father Omnipotent, be to us merciful and clement. Amen.

May His blessing be upon us who doth live and reign forever. Amen.

Benedictio. Divínum auxílium máneat semper nobíscum.

Grant, Lord, a blessing.
God's most mighty strength always be His people's staff and stay. Amen.

Benedictio. Ad societátem cívium supernórum perdúcat nos Rex Angelórum.
R. Amen.
Grant, Lord, a blessing.
May He that is the Angels' King to that high realm His people bring. Amen.

Lord, please bless me.
May the Virgin of virgins, intercede for us to the Lord. Amen.

3.
V. Iube, Dómine, benedícere.
Per Vírginem Matrem * concédat nobis Dóminus salútem et pacem.
R. Amen.
Lord, please bless me.
Through the Virgin Mother, the Lord grant us salvation and peace. Amen.
